A fan archive, kept by the fans who never stopped playing.
The definitive fan archive, lore guide, and tier list hub for Avatar: The Last Airbender games since 2007. Eighteen volumes in, the work is still the same: index every licensed release, document every boss, and rank every title with the community.
A phpBB thread, a borrowed scanner, and a wiki that would not stay small.
In the summer of 2007, a fourteen-year-old with a free phpBB install and a bad ADSL line built a forum to track every Avatar: The Last Airbender video game he could find. There were seven at the time. The index fit on one page. The forum did not.
Eighteen years later, that same index has grown into the largest verified record of the ATLA gaming universe online. We have mapped 100% of all 47 officially licensed games released since 2005. We have written 312 walkthrough pages, 1,860 boss strategy guides, and a wiki of more than 12,000 lore entries cross-referenced to 61 episodes and three animated films. The tier list has been continuously updated for six years and shaped by 14,200 community votes. The Hub has been cited by PC Gamer and Kotaku, has held four verified world records on speedrun.com, and now serves 1.4 million readers a month.
We are not Nickelodeon. We are not Paramount. We are nine writers and three lore consultants who play the games we cover, working out of a small office on Fandom Lane in Oakland. We have covered this franchise through three studio closures, two IP reboots, and one studio revival without missing a release. This page exists to introduce ourselves, to explain how we work, and to be honest about what we are: a fan archive, run by fans, sustained by readers who want the canon to be remembered correctly.
“We started as a phpBB thread. We are still a phpBB thread in the important ways: ten people in a room, arguing about tier lists, refusing to be wrong.”— from the Hub's internal style guide, 2014
The work is slow on purpose. Every boss guide is tested. Every cheat code is verified on original hardware. Every wiki entry is cross-checked against the original animated series — the current canon accuracy sits at 99.2%, and we publish the corrections publicly when we miss. The community votes on every tier list, and we treat those rankings as aggregated opinion, not competitive truth.
If you are reading this, you are probably one of the 1.4 million people who joined us this month. Welcome. The forum is still open.
Nine writers. Three lore consultants. Every one of them an ATLA fan first.
The Hub is staffed by writers who play the games they cover. Byline panels below — the longer staff list, including our lore consultants and speedrun record holders, lives on the Masthead page.

The Canon Checkers Behind 12,000 Wiki Entries
Three consultants cross-reference every lore entry against the 61 episodes and three animated films before a writer publishes it. They are why the wiki holds a 99.2% canon-accuracy rating after eighteen years of weekly edits.

What the Hub Is — and What It Is Not
A working set of rules, written plainly, so any reader can see the boundary between fan publishing and official franchise stewardship.
Sourcing
Every wiki entry links back to a primary source — an episode timestamp, a developer interview, an instruction manual, or a credited press release. Fan memory, no matter how long-held, is not a citation. Submissions missing a primary source are returned to the writer with a note from the sourcing consultant.
Canon Accuracy
The 12,000-entry wiki is held to a 99.2% canon-accuracy rating, measured by quarterly audits against the 61 episodes and three animated films. The rating is internal and audited by the lore consultants; it is not a guarantee that any single entry is correct, and readers are invited to flag suspected errors via the contact page.
Tier Lists
Tier rankings are community-aggregated opinion, not competitive truth. The current S-tier has been shaped by 14,200+ votes over six years; we will never guarantee that a placement reflects in-game performance, and we will never sell a tier placement. Writers disclose personal votes; consultants do not vote.
Non-Affiliation
Avatar Games Hub is an independent fan publication. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Nickelodeon, Paramount, ViacomCBS, THQ, Vivendi Universal Games, or Bamtang Games. All character names, dialogue excerpts, screenshots, and music referenced on this site remain the property of their respective rights holders. The Hub receives no studio funding, no embargoed review copies, and no insider access. Where we have documented previously unlisted cheat codes across the GBA, PS2, and GameCube titles, those findings were produced by independent reverse-engineering and have not been provided by any rights holder.
